Matchbox collection for sale

There is a total of 126 regular wheel boxes and approximately 237 cars... plus other stuff.

The first 12 pictures show a total of 116 boxes, maybe 10 have cars inside at most. The rest of these boxes belong to the cars in the 23 pictures after the boxes.

The next 23 pictures show the 191 cars that came with the boxes above. These all came from a friend of mine. It was his personal collection of many many years. He fell on some hard times a few years ago and I stepped in and bought his collection to help him out. These were his personal pieces and, as you can see, there are many variations here. There should not be any duplicates. All these are variations of one sort or another. There are definitely some rare variations in here!

Next we have 19 of his rarer cars. These were his rarest variations.

The next picture shows 12 boxes that all have near mint to mint cars in them.

Here we have a near mint 72 car case with original trays. Nicest one I have ever seen personally.

The next 7 pictures show a resin prototype of a MB Thunderbird. I placed a regular one to the right of it, so you can see the differences.

Next we have another small collection of 15 very nice early MB's.

Next is a huge file box of literature from a different collection. These came from a Matchbox Manager who worked at the Moonachie MB facility in the 80's and 90's. There are about 200+ pieces in here, plus another box of Christmas cards and other cards that MB had made internally. All this paperwork should be in a museum!
